Nietzsche Blog starting up

Brian Lieter, a philosopher who is at UT-Austin, I believe, has a Nietzsche blog that he will be posting to, "starting soon". He is an analytically-inclined philosopher with one foot in the "Continental" world (if only to use it to kick Continental philosophy's more confusing aspects in the ass).

Anyway, might be a good way to access Nietzsche's very complex thinking.

  1. Nietzsche, Kierkegaard, and maybe Marx and Schopenhauer are the only Continentals worth considering.

Hegel, Heidegger, Derrida are so damn confusing.

  2. There has been a separation of existentialists, like Nietzssche, Kierkegaard, Sartre, Schohpenahuer, etc. and phenomenologists, like Heiddeger, Derrida, and Hegel. The phenomenologists also tend to be included in the moniker "post-modern" which to me, is synonymous with "confused".

I dig the existentialists, though I have not had the time to read them much since undergrad.
