The Forgotten War

This item on Talking Points Memo (the paradigm example of a journalistic blog that blows away mainstream media outlets....like ALL of them) is firghtening and appalling on so many levels.

The money quote is from Bob Woodward who has been known to carry water for the Bushies. Now, it seems he may have gotten a spine:

According to Woodward, insurgent attacks against coalition troops occur, on average, every 15 minutes, a shocking fact the administration has kept secret. “It’s getting to the point now where there are eight, 900 attacks a week. That’s more than a hundred a day. That is four an hour attacking our forces,” says Woodward.

900 attacks a week. 100 a day. Four an hour.

If you support our troops, bring them home now. We cannot win. We have already lost.
